Private Events
Would you like The Crafty Hammer all to yourself? Book a private party. If your group is large enough, you can reserve the entire workshop (with a refundable deposit and minimum attendees). Our Sign Workshop can fit up to 32 adults and 40 children and our Cozy Hand Knitted Throw Blanket Workshops can fit 16 comfortably. We offer the setup and clean up for your event as well as up to 1 hour before or after the event to be with your group.
You can also choose the project from our gallery that your guests will be making or allow them to choose. We can add embellishments or your company or group logo (with licensing permission) to any design.
If you can’t meet our minimum attendee requirement, then maybe a private table can be held at a public workshop instead? Let us know what you’d like to do and we’ll help you choose the best option.
Children’s Workshops and parties
We offer child friendly workshops as well as birthday parties and DIY summer camp opportunities. We have many youth programs both including regular and specialty workshops and they are offered both during the week and weekends. If you want to host a special workshop, please contact us to plan it.
Your child will be so excited to celebrate their milestone at The Crafty Hammer for one of our wood sign designed workshops. We will set up and clean up and offer children up to 2 hours of creative time. We provide everything for them to get creative. You may choose the design of our children’s sized signs or create your own custom design for an additional price.
You may bring party supplies, as well as food and beverages for the party at no additional cost. Our children’s workshops are priced by size of projects. Ages 16 and over can register for an evening workshop as long as they are accompanied by a registered adult.
We do sometimes offer drop off workshops for children 8 years of age and older. At these workshops we have a locked door and will only release your child to their parent or a pre-approved adult over the age of 18. We do ask for parents to leave phone numbers in case we need to contact them before the pick up time.
We LOVE to work with non-profits, school organizations and special groups. Please contact us for a group rate.
Business Team Building
The Crafty Hammer offers private wood sign classes for groups. We take care of the set up before and clean up after. Your group gets 3 hours of studio creativity time and up to 1 hour of meeting time before or after the workshop to bring your group together with your theme. You will be able to choose your wood sign design from our gallery for your group to create. We can offer a custom sign design for an additional fee.
We provide all of the materials needed, (including all hanging hardware and anything special to the individual projects) to create products. Everyone will take home their unique sign at the end of the workshop.
Food and beverages may be brought at no extra cost, or we can help you plan this option for an additional fee. Please ask.
